European Business Summit – Agenda

website

The European economy continues to face significant challenges, although it has proven more resilient than many expected. Among other factors, geopolitical instability, imbalance in the energy and raw material supply and the rise of protectionism shape an unpredictable landscape.

At the same time, Greece’s economy is bouncing back achieving growth rates above the euro zone’s average. Small and medium-sized enterprises are a key driver in the country’s effort to fully recover the lost ground following the crisis of the former decade. The challenges regarding the implementation of the necessary reforms and the volatility of the international environment are testing the resilience of the Greek market.

Within this context, The Economist Impact Events in collaboration with theAthens Chamber of Tradesmen and the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants (GSEVEE), have great pleasure in announcing the organisation of the European Business Summit entitled “How can SMEs innovate and compete in a volatile economic environment?”, which is scheduled to take place on May 25th 2024 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Athens.
