Alexandre Stutzmann is an EU diplomat, currently heading the Office of the EU Representation to the Palestinian Territories in Jerusalem. He was previously posted at the European Delegation to the United Nations in New York City, in charge of parliamentary relations, public diplomacy as well as coordinating the reflexion on the reform of global governance. Prior he was the special adviser to the president of the General Assembly (74th, 75th and 76th session), in charge among others of the follow up to Our Common Agenda, as well as Human Rights.Â

A senior official of the European Union, he was the director of External Policies in the European Parliament, and prior to that the diplomatic adviser to three presidents of the EP.Â

A graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Sorbonne in Paris, he was a doctoral researcher at the European University Institute in Florence and an adjunct faculty member at NYU.
