Alexandros Dimitrakopoulos

IR officer

Alex is a Greek business strategist with a track record in corporate restructuring, high-profile M&A deals, and stock exchange listings. He is known for leading transitional processes and often serves as the interim head of sizable organizations going through takeover or change of control. Between 2018 and 2024 he served as ONYX’s CEO while currently being the firm’s IR officer.

An Anatolia High School graduate, he dropped out of architecture (Oxford Brookes) and physics (AUTh), pivoting to freelance business consulting. Operating under the trade names ‘RAD’, ‘RNBW’, and ‘ODD’, Alex has advised clients across a diverse range of industries, including the primary sector, commodity trading, manufacture, shipping, retail, real estate, tourism, fashion, and art. His work evolved from dynamic modeling and forecasting into strategic planning, corporate transformation, and product development. Alex works at the intersection of strategy, finance, and execution, integrating cross-functional, matrix-management structures to drive sustainable growth.

Outside of business, he enjoys sailing, having been a former champion and coach, and dreams of sailing solo around the world or becoming a shipwright. However, as the father of a nine-year-old son, he has settled for family cruising in the Aegean, while also running a small boat-building workshop that offers performance clinics for young sailors.
