Amir Zilberstein is a managing partner at Team8 and a successful serial entrepreneur. Amir joined Team8 (>$1B AUM) in 2020 to lead the Team8 Enterprise fund, focusing on cybersecurity, data, and AI.
Amir has over 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity space. He has founded and served as CEO, chairman, and board member of multiple technology companies, including Claroty (>$1B valuation; >$100M ARR), the leader in industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security; Waterfall Security, a developer of high-end security gateways for critical infrastructure; and Gita Technologies, a cybersecurity company in the government space; Gita Technologies was acquired by Verint Systems in 2015.
Amir currently serves on the boards of directors of multiple companies, including Claroty, IVIX, OX Security, and Orchid Security. Prior to his career as an entrepreneur and investor, Amir managed a research and development department in an elite cybersecurity unit of the Israel Defense Force. He is the inventor and author of over ten patents, primarily in the field of cybersecurity.
Amir holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University in Israel.
