Dr Andreas A. Andreadis is Co-Founder & Managing Partner of the Sani/Ikos Group, one of the fastest-growing platforms in the luxury hospitality sector, operating 13 award-winning, owned-and-operated Sani and Ikos Resorts properties in Greece and Spain.
The Andreadis family founded Sani in Halkidiki in 1970. Andreas became CEO in 1995 and, together with his brother Stavros as President, established Sani as Greece’s leading luxury family resort. In 2015, Andreas and Stavros joined forces with Mathieu Guillemin and a group of investors to create and expand the Sani/Ikos Group.
Under their leadership, the Group introduced the innovative concept of all-inclusive luxury hospitality with the launch and rapid expansion of Ikos Resorts across the Mediterranean, quadrupling its size and assets between 2016 and 2022.
In 2022, the Group entered into a strategic partnership with GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, in a transaction valuing the company at €2.3 billion.
Today, three new five-star Ikos properties are under development in Halkidiki, Spain and Portugal, with openings planned through to 2029, while Ikos Kissamos in Crete welcomed its first guests in April 2026. These projects form part of the Group’s €1 billion five-year expansion plan across the Mediterranean, delivering significant benefits to local destinations.
In May 2023, Dr Andreas Andreadis and Stavros Andreadis received the international “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the International Hospitality Investment Forum, recognising their contribution to the global development of luxury hospitality and Greek tourism.
Dr Andreadis has also served as President of the Board of the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE) (2011–2017), President of Marketing Greece S.A. and INSETE (the SETE Institute), organisations established to promote Greek tourism in cooperation with public and private stakeholders. He previously served as President of the Hellenic Hotel Federation (2006–2011) and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Greece (2013–2016).
He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a PhD from the University of London (UK).
