Carlos Escario

Carlos holds an MBA from IESE Business School and a PhD in Strategy and Organizational Transformation. He has completed a research program at Harvard Business School (Boston), has been certified at the Robbins Research Institute (San Diego), at the Adizes Institute (Santa Barbara) and in organizational psychology and human engineering design with Richard Bandler (USA).

As entrepreneur he founded Servicios Logísticos Integrados S.A. (SLi) in 1991. SLi became the first Spanish multinational in the logistics operations and transportation sector, with subsidiaries in 9 countries. In 2002 SLi merged with UTI Worldwide, a global corporation, listed on Nasdaq, based in Los Angeles (California) and operations globally. At UTI, Carlos led the vice-president of Sales and Marketing for the Europe, North Africa and Middle East (EMENA) region; Global vice-president of strategy at the Los Angeles headquarters and the operations of the 54 countries in the EMENA region as executive president. In 1994 he founded TACHA Beauty and Wellness S.L., a benchmark company as a premium brand in the beauty & wellness sector. He has also been CEO of the Emergia Contact Center group, with ten thousand employees in Spain and LATAM.

As academic, Carlos is adjunct professor at the University of Notre Dame in the U.S. and speaker at international programs at IESE Business School, ESC Clermont Business School (France), ISEM Fashion Business School (University of Navarra) and San Telmo Business School, among others. As an executive coach, Carlos is certified by The Leadership Circle Profile.

He is co-author of “Vitaminas y Vacunas para la empresa de hoy" (2019) and “Marketing de Servicios: personas, tecnología, estrategia" (2022). As a researcher, his latest publication at IESE “Los agujeros negros y otros cambios disruptivos” (2021)
