Christian Hosius

Christian Hosius is a physician with extensive experience in oncology Medical Affairs and Clinical Development across multiple tumor indications. 

In his current role he is a Senior Director and team leader in the European Clinical Development Unit of MSD Sharp & Dohme working mainly on prostate cancer. 

Christian started his pharmaceutical career at Novartis, Germany in the department of Medical Affairs. From here he moved to the European organization for the same company. 
The clinical focus during this time was on neuroendocrine tumors, Gi tumors and brain tumors. 

Later Christian moved to the Headquarter of Sandoz Biopharmaceuticals to contribute to the development of biosimilars in hematology. 
Later he joined the local organization of the ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Incyte Biosciences as Medical Director focusing on hematologic malignancies. 

During this time, he worked closely with Patient Advocacy Groups for different indications on local or global level.

In 2016 Christian joined MSD Sharp & Dohme in a European Medical Affairs position and since for the last 6 years he works for the department of Clinical Development. His main focus lies on prostate cancer.
