Christos Panagopoulos

President

Christos Panagopoulos is a journalist and since August 2020 has been holding the position of president at the Hellenic Gaming Association (HGA). 

He has extensive working experience as president and CEO of several companies. Specifically from 2004 to 2009, he served as president and CEO of the Greek Public Television and Radio (ERT). From 2011 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2017 he acted as vice-president of the Football Club Panathinaikos FC. 

Earlier, for the period 2009 to 2013, he was CEO at the Media Group SKAI. From 2014 to 2015 he acted as deputy general director and member of the board at DIGEA – Digital Provider. Additionally, from 1984 to 2004 he worked as a journalist at the Kathimerini newspaper and Antenna network, in managerial roles.

In 1984 he graduated as a journalist with MAGISTER ARTIUM of journalism, political sciences and Southeastern Europe History from LUDWIG MAXIMILIANS University of Munich, Germany. Â
