Christos Tsentemeidis holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing (BS in Marketing) and a master of business administration (MBA) from Suffolk University in Boston. He began his professional career in 1990 at Procter & Gamble Hellas working in the supply chain department.
In 1992, he joined Johnson & Johnson Hellas, where he spent 28 consecutive years in the consumer goods sector. During this long and successful career, he held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, initially in marketing and subsequently in multiple commercial and management roles, both in Greece and abroad.
From 2018 to 2020, he assumed the expanded responsibility of country director & brand activation leader for 14 countries across the southeastern Europe region. In October 2020, he made a significant career transition, becoming a shareholder and, at the same time, general manager of Orizontes S.A., a rapidly growing Greek food company.
That same year, he was also honoured to take on the role of external strategy adviser at Deloitte Greece. At the same time, he has served for 23 years as a member of the board of directors of ECR Hellas, where he also served as chairman for three consecutive terms.
An important step in his career in December 2025, has been his appointment as chairman of the board of directors TIF – HELEXPO. This is both a great honor and a significant responsibility, as he is called upon to lead the transformation and redevelopment of TIF, a historic organisation of great importance not only to Thessaloniki but to Greece as a whole.
He is member of the BoD of Thessaloniki Tourism Organisation and of the Metropolitan Organisation of Museums of Visual Arts of Thessaloniki – MOMUS.
