George Delyannis

George graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) in 1988. He served articles with Coopers & Lybrand, reaching the position of Audit Manager. Healso holds post-graduate qualifications in Taxation,Advanced Banking and Corporate & Business Governance.
He has extensiveauditing, finance and risk management experience in listed and multi-national companies, including Nedbank (a subsidiary of Old Mutual plc.) and Roche (South Africa). In banking, he was responsible for Operational Risk, Compliance and Corporate Governance, as well as Sustainability Reporting for the Retail Banking Division of Nedbank.
He is a member of a number of professional associations, namely SAICA, The Investment Analysts’ Society of South Africa and is also a registered Compliance Professional. He has lectured on a part-time basis for 5 years in Accounting and Auditing at the University of the Witwatersrand and also served on the Auditing Standards Committee of SAICA.
He is the CFO of Lavaux Capital SA, a trade finance company based in Switzerland.
