Dimitrios Daravigkas, is a radiologist and has been serving as country medical director at Affidea Greece since 2018, combining strategic medical leadership with active clinical practice. Since 2007, he has also served as a radiologist at Affidea Thessaloniki. Previously, he has worked at Affidea Kozani (2005–2007) and at the Health Center of Kassandra in Chalkidiki (1996–1998).

He completed his radiology residency at Hippokration General Hospital and AHEPA University Hospital of Thessaloniki (2000–2005). He holds a medical degree (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine, School of Health Sciences, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (1989–1996).

Throughout his career, he has focused on delivering medical care with empathy, precision and professionalism, applying principles of clinical governance aligned with humanitarian values, financial sustainability, and ESG standards.

Dimitrios Daravigkas has an extensive scientific background, with active participation in numerous national and international medical congresses, presentations, and publications. He has also served as an investigator in multiple clinical studies conducted by major pharmaceutical companies. In addition, he has attended national IT seminars, strengthening the integration of medical practice with technological innovation.

He is a member of the Panhellenic Medical Society, the Medical Society of Thessaloniki, the European Society of Radiology, the Panhellenic Radiological Society and the Radiological Society of Northern Greece.
