Dimitris Demos was born in Athens, Greece, and holds a degree in chemistry from the University of Athens and a Master’s degree in business administration from Fordham University in New York. Following his studies, he joined the family business of DEMO S.A. Pharmaceutical Industry working in various positions, applying his business vision in practice.
Today, Dimitris Demos is the president and chief executive of DEMO S.A., one of the largest manufacturers of injectables in Europe, with an annual turnover of €328 million, 4 state-of-the-art production units of 66,000 sq.m. and 1,900 employees.
Mr Dimitris Demos is also vice-president of the Panhellenic Union of the Pharmaceutical Industry, which represents the collective domestic pharmaceutical production in Greece.
