Domagoj Juričić

Former chief of staff to the president of Croatia, political risk management senior consultant, MKPS, Croatia

Domagoj Juričić is a highly accomplished political risk management consultant with a distinguished career spanning diplomacy, government, and international business. He holds a degree in Journalism from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and has further specialised in Transformational Leadership at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and Regulatory Impact Assessment at the College of Europe in Bruges. Additionally, he earned diplomas in International Business and Economics, as well as in International Law and Politics, from the Berlin-based International Business Management Institute. 

Juričić has held senior positions in the Croatian Government, where he played a pivotal role in shaping digital and investment policies. As Deputy State Secretary for e-Croatia, he led groundbreaking, award-winning digital reforms, and as State Secretary for Investments, he worked to enhance Croatia’s investment climate. His diplomatic career includes serving as First Secretary at the Croatian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and later as Chief of Staff to the President of Croatia, where he was instrumental in the development of the Three Seas Initiative. 

Beyond government service, Juričić has been deeply involved in economic and trade policy. As Vice President for International and EU Relations at the Croatian Chamber of Economy, he actively contributed to shaping Croatia’s role in the European and global economy. He was also a member of the Eurochambres ad-hoc working group for TTIP negotiations between the EU and the USA. His expertise in regulatory reform has led to collaborations with the World Bank on projects across multiple countries, focusing on modernising business regulations and reducing administrative burdens. 

Currently, Juričić advises multinational corporations and international institutions through MKPS, specialising in political risk management, regulatory reforms, and strategic advisory. He is also a member of the New Club of Paris, where he contributes to advancing the global knowledge economy.
