Gerasimos Skaltsas

Gerasimos Skaltsas, Chief Commercial Officer of SKY express, is an aviation executive with more than fifteen years of international experience in airline strategy, commercial development and digital transformation. He has worked across the United States, Europe and the Middle East, with a consistent focus on strengthening commercial performance and supporting airlines through periods of growth and structural change.

Prior to joining SKY express, he was with Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co.), advising major airlines, airports, aviation authorities and air navigation service providers across the Gulf region and Europe. His work covered network and fleet development, commercial growth, financial transformation, operational efficiency and post-crisis restructuring. Earlier, he was based in the United States with United Airlines, contributing to its long-term network and fleet planning.

Mr. Skaltsas holds an MBA from INSEAD (France/Singapore) and a Master of Science in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a specialisation in air transport and data science. He also holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, with a specialisation in Transportation Systems.
