Harris Georgiades
Chairman, Clerides Institute, former minister of finance, Government of Cyprus
Harris Georgiades is a former minister of finance and a former chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus. He is currently a consultant with GZG & Associates LLC and a non-executive director at ECM Fund Management. He is also chairman of the Clerides Institute, a Nicosia-based policy think-tank.
He has served as chairman of the board of governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and was selected by POLITICO as one of 28 influential Europeans.
He is the author of three books, was a regular columnist and has appeared extensively in local and international media.
