Josef Schneider

Josef Schneider (EPF Chairman) has a degree in Engineering and works as a senior Manufacturing Facility manager at Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH, where he leads a team of 10 people. Since 1990, he is committed to improving customers’ experience in the public transport sector. For more than 20 years he represents the German passengers’ organisation PRO BAHN e.V. Bundesverband at European level. For 12 years, he was chairman of PRO BAHN Baden-Württemberg. Josef Schneider is now chairman of the EPF Management Board. Within EPF, his main topics of interest are passenger rights, PRM needs, cross-border public transport, multimodal information and ticketing, user information and user interfaces.
