Kyriacos Nicolaou

Koullis (Kyriacos) Nicolaou was born in 1970 in Lagia, Cyprus. He is the tenth child of Kostas and Eleni Nicolaou.

Despite financial challenges, he pursued his dream of becoming an actor and has been working in theater, television, and the film industry for over 20 years.

His theatrical career is mainly in satire and includes key roles in productions such as "The Cuckoo's Nest," playing the role of Chief Bromden, the Duke of Kent in “King Lear”, directed by Despina Bebedeli, as well as roles as Cook in "Madness” and Javert in “Les Misérables”, among others.

Some of the television series he appeared in include: “Akti Oneiron” (1998), “Ta Psarka” (2002-2004), “Oi Choraites” (2002-2004 & 2010 Antenna Cyprus), “Detective” (2004, Antenna), “Foul tou Riga” (2005, Sigma), “Vendeta” (2006), “Karaoli ala Krem”  (2008-2009, Sigma), “Re Savvi Re Arfe Mou” and “Treis ki o Koukos” (2010, RIK). He has also appeared in several movie productions, including “China Town”, “Hi America”, “To Tama”, “Akamas” and “Yellow Channel”.

For the past 15 years, he has run his own production company, which has produced numerous successful TV series in Cyprus. He collaborates closely with Andreas Georgiou and writer Vana Dimitriou, producing popular series such as “Roua Mat” and “Tatouaz”.

Koullis Nicolaou is married to Klarina Nicolaou, and they have two children, Nectarios and Eleni.
