Lalela Chrysanthopoulou

Lalela Chrysanthopoulou began her career in journalism in 1992 at the newspaper Mesimvrini while simultaneously pursuing her studies at the Law Faculty of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She went on to work for the newspapers Exousia, Imerisia, where she served as chief editor of business reporting — Ethnos and Naftemporiki. From 2003 to 2004, she worked as a radio producer and website editor for the BBC's Greek Service in London. More recently, she served as press officer for the Greek Ministry of Environment and Energy and the Greek Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and as head of Communications for the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO). Since May 2024, she holds the position of editor-in-chief of business site powergame.gr and its energy-focused “sister" site, energygame.gr and also contributes energy stories for the website iefimerida.gr.
