Michail Nikolaou

Michail Nikolaou MD, MSc, PhD is a medical oncologist, consultant, of the 1st Medical Oncology Department of the Anti-Cancer Hospital of Athens "Agios Savvas". He is the initiator of "Oikothen" and Scientific Manager of the Hospital at Home Department.

He holds a Doctorate in Medicine (PhD), Department of Medicine, University of Thessaly, a Master's Degree (MSc), Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Thessaly and a Master's Degree (MHA) in the Management of Health and Welfare Units René Descartes College / French Public University, CNAM (under elaboration)

• He is the vice-president of the Society of Medical Oncology of Greece (EOPE)
• President of the Professional Association of Medical Oncology of Greece (EEPOE)
• Elector of the Athens Medical Association (ISA) in the Panhellenic Medical Association (PIS)
• Member of the Board of Directors of the Medical Association of Athens & Piraeus Hospitals (EINAP)
• Member of the Executive Committee Federation of Associations of Hospital Doctors of Greece (OENGE)
• former president of the Group of Young Oncologists of Greece (ONEO)

Michail Nikolaou has a rich scientific, research, educational, writing and clinical work. This counts 40 Medical papers published in evaluated medical journals with 905 references (Citations), has more than 300 speeches at Medical Conferences, is an author of the Greek Guidelines of Oncology, has more than 60 Posters and has participated in more than 30 Clinical Studies.
