Mike Holmes

Mike gained his MD from King’s London in 1990, became a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 1996 and obtained the Diploma of Pharmaceutical Physicians (Royal College of Physicians, England) in 2003.

Prior to joining industry Mike spent 10 years in clinical practice training as a surgeon, special interest colorectal surgery. Mike has over 20 years in industry having worked across oncology medical affairs, clinical development and BD at AstraZeneca, Genzyme, Astellas and GSK before joining MSD where he has spent the last 8 years initially leading Oncology MA in EUCAN (Europe and Canada), then EMEAC (Europe, Middle Est, Africa and Canada) followed by 2 years in the Global Oncology Therapy Area.

Currently Mike leads the Global Oncology Medical Affairs TA.
