Peter Droussiotis

Peter, a barrister by training, founded and is current CEO of PGD Strategy, a specialist corporate finance and strategy consulting firm headquartered in London. He also serves as non-executive chairman of Avantis, an insurance holding company.

Peter has previously held senior positions with Credit Suisse, Minet Group (now Aon) and PwC and has served as a Non-Executive Director of insurance sector software solutions provider Sequel (now Verisk). He is founding Chairman of the UK-Cyprus Enterprise Council, a voluntary strategic body leveraging British Cypriot talent and promoting trade between the UK and Cyprus, which was established in 2013. Since 2021, Peter has also been Chair of the Cyprus Environment Foundation, a member of the UK-based Conservation Collective, which supports local environmental initiatives to protect, preserve and restore the natural beauty of Cyprus. He previously served, in an elected voluntary capacity, as President of the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK, representing the largest Cypriot diaspora, for 8 years, until his term expired in June 2015.

Peter has an LL. B (Law & Politics) Honours degree from the University of Birmingham and was called to the Bar of England & Wales at the Middle Temple.
