Petia Dimitrova

Petia Dimitrova has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of Postbank since 2012. Under her leadership, Postbank has strengthened its position as a systemic for the market bank. Mrs. Dimitrova is a Member of the National Council of Global Compact Local Network Bulgaria, as well as a Member of the Management Boards of the “Atanas Bourov" Foundation, “Borica" AD, Endeavor Bulgaria Association and the International Banking Institute. She also is a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria, Associate member of the Management Board of CEIBG, Member of the University Council of the American University in Bulgaria and Member of the Industrial Advisory Board - CITY College, University of Sheffield, UK. She is a co-founder of the Public Council of Women in Business and a Member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mrs. Dimitrova is a two-time winner of the prestigious “Mrs. Economy” award, five-time winner of the “Banker of the Year” award, a winner of the “Woman of the Year” award in the Business category, the “Female Executive of the Year in Europe, the Middle East and Africa" award and numerous national and international awards for business and banking.
