Sherif El Diwany

Sherif El Diwany is the Senior Advisor to EP Global Energy on Business Innovation for the Eastern Mediterranean (2012 to present, Cyprus); and Partner and Chief Business Officer of Documenta SL, transforming education in the 21st Century (2012 to present, Geneva). He was the Senior Director, Head of Middle East and North Africa at the World Economic Forum (2005-2011, Geneva) and Senior Vice President for Business Development , Cotecna (2000 to 2005, Geneva).

Sherif El Diwany was the CEO and founder of Public Interest Inc., one of Egypt’s top public policy and management consultancy firms (1984-2000). He was a public policy adviser to several Middle East governments and international development agencies such as the World Bank and USAID. His expertise includes business and investment planning, private sector development, education and urban management. He has a MSc in Planning, University of Houston, Texas, USA, 1981, and a B.Sc. in Architecture, Cairo University, Egypt, 1978.
