Stefanos Koutsakos

Non-executive director

Stefanos begun his career in 2011 at Deloitte London where he spent three years in the Investment Management & Private Equity team, gaining the ACA qualification. 

In 2014, he moved to IHS Markit (now S&P Global) and joined a newly set-up private equity valuations team where he focused on valuations for illiquid securities, including private companies, distressed debt and suspended shares. Stefanos built several proprietary valuation models for complex securities. 

He subsequently moved to EH Global Capital, a merchant bank boutique, where he advised on several transactions, including the sale of TIP Trailer Services, the biggest trailer leasing company in Europe, from HNA to I Squared Capital for more than EUR1bn. 

In 2018 he moved to a London based family office where he co-lead the investment team. He oversaw the family’s principal investments in aviation and new investments in early stage technology companies. 

Stefanos joined Fitzroy Capital Partners as a Principal in April 2021 and amongst other, lead the group to its biggest investment, an acquisition of 49% of the Green Energy Group, a market leader in renewable energy in Cyprus. To date, Stefanos remains at the board of the group offering strategic advise. 

In 2022, Stefanos founded Pollux Ventures, a private equity investment company focused in acquiring majority stakes in medium-sized companies operating in the traditional sectors of South-East Europe. 

Stefanos graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Economics.
