Stelios is a partner at EY and the strategy and transactions leader in Cyprus. He is also EY’s Government and Infrastructure leader for 29 countries across Central, Eastern and Southern Europe.
With 25 years of experience in the industry, Stelios led the team through challenging projects in corporate finance, capital raising and banking, as well as strategy and economic impact assessments. These projects have been across a range of different sectors of the economy; including, among others, shipping, hospitality/real estate, energy and financial services. Stelios successfully led a number of M&A transactions, both buy and sell-side. Successful transactions again span across different sectors, and included among others hotels, a mall, marinas, renewable energy projects, a private hospital, NPE portfolios and companies in the technology sector. Additionally, he helped clients to raise equity and debt finance, performed business valuations, prepared business plans and feasibility studies while also carrying numerous due diligence exercises. Stelios also supported the Republic of Cyprus by providing lead advisory services in relation to public concessions and was involved in several banking projects, asset disposals (including distressed) and corporate restructuring exercises.
