Stelios Dris
Chairman & CEO
Stelios Dris is the chairman and CEO of foodstandard, which was established in 2002. He is a graduate of the Agricultural University of Athens. Early on his life he envisioned a company offering services related to the agri-food sector with professional agronomists working as consultants.
After 25 years of experience as a director in a wide range of companies such as Rhone Poulenc Agro Hellas and Aventis Crop Science, he grabbed the chance in 2001 and started building his own company. The success of the following 12 years justified his initial predictions. Nowadays he employees more than 25 people who manage 40% of the agri-food sector. Τhe company trades in the export sector too.
He is a member to the board of directors at The Newtons Advertising Agency. He studied quality assurance in Lyon and holds an MA in marketing. He was born in Athens and he is a father of two.
