Thanos Kosmidis is co-founder & CEO of CareAcross, a digital health company focusing on cancer.
With more than 20 years of experience in the technical and commercial divisions of high-tech companies in USA & Europe, Mr Kosmidis leads the combination of technology and healthcare through the innovations that CareAcross designs, deploys and manages.
More specifically, Mr Kosmidis has been focusing on the delivery of personalised support based on scientific evidence, the collection of Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs) and Real World Data (RWD) as well as generation of actionable insights. Moreover, he has been advancing the engagement of patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals via interactive online platforms, while overseeing the generation of the company’s evidence basis through clinical trials that demonstrate the impact of its services. He also leads CareAcross’ partnerships with dozens of organisations globally from academia, research, patient advocacy and industry.
Mr Kosmidis has served as an Assembly Member for the European Commission’s “Mission on Cancer”, and as a technology expert for the European Commission Initiative on Breast Cancer (ECIBC). He also contributes to the sounding board of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) Oncology Platform through All.Can International, which CareAcross is a member of.
Thanos Kosmidis has attended Imperial College in the UK, as well as Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in USA.
