Uzy Zwebner is the co-founder and former project manager of the Advanced Technologies Park (ATP) and today serves as a director at the ATP board. Furthermore, Mr Zwebner's fully owned company, BaseCamp, (Negevinn Innovation Center LTD), is involved in creating new high-tech ecosystems around the world. BaseCamp’s global activities include countries like Greece (Thessaloniki), Panama and Brazil.Â
In the past Mr Zwebner served in several executive positions at the City of Eilat, starting as an assistant treasurer, continuing the treasurer and CEO of the Eilat Development Company LTD, and ending as the first general director of the city. During that time, the city became more attractive to investors due to a special "Free Trade Zone" law that was established especially for the City of Eilat. Â
Uzy Zwebner also served as a research assistant to the director of the School of  Business Administration at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and as an assistant economist at the National Bank of Israel. He also offered management and consulting services to government authorities for the economic recovery and development of cities in high tech industry, tourism and economic projects.
Mr Zwebner was born in the city of Jerusalem and lives in Tel Aviv. During his military career, he served as a tank commander in the Israeli Defense Forces, and took part in the 1973 "Yom Kippur" war. He holds a BA in International Relations and an MBA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.Â
