Economist Conferences – Greece
Vassilis Kostoulas is a journalist at ‘Kathimerini Newspaper’ and a senior editor of the ‘Economist’ conferences for SE Europe, specializing in macroeconomic and geopolitical research and analysis.
He studied journalism and since 2003 has worked with a range of print, radio and digital media. He has conducted in-depth interviews with senior officials of international organizations such as the European Commission, the OECD, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund; and with personalities such as Emmanuel Macron, Jack Lew, Larry Summers, Albert Burla and Francis Fukuyama. He has also taken part in the International Visitor Leadership Program of the US Department of State.
He has been involved in the digital transformation and redesign of Kathimerini's online platforms in 2020 and has been the editorial director of the digital edition of Naftemporiki Newspaper. He has also been an editorial consultant of the Greek and Cypriot edition of The Economist's annual publication "The World in..." for the last 10 consecutive years. He is also the host of Kathimerini business podcast, 'The Money Pod'.
