Political career
Klaus-Peter Willsch has been a Member of the German Bundestag since 1988, Constituency Rheingau-Taunus/Limburg,  Region of Frankfurt Rhein-Main.
Since 2002 also a Member of the Budget Committee of the German Bundestag and a Member of the Executive Committee of the German SME Circle (small and medium-sized enterprises) of the CDU/CSU Parliamentary Group
Since 2009 he has been the Chairman of the Aviation and Space Group in the German Bundestag and since 2010 the Chairman of the German-Taiwanese Parliamentary Friendship Group of the German Bundestag and the Vice-Chairman of the German-Croatian Parliamentary Group of the German Bundestag.
From 1978 onwards he has been engaged in local politics in Rheingau-Taunus and various political functions and mandates in CDU Hessen.
Professional career
From1987 until1988  Klaus-Peter Willsch served in the 5th Anti-Aircraft Regiment in Lorch am Rhein as a Reserve Captain. From1989 until1994 he was the head of the "rentals, leasing and internal use department" at Fraport (Frankfurt airport), while from 1992 he was working as an economic consultant.
From1993 until 1998 he was the Mayor of the spa town of Schlangenbad
Education
From1980 until1986 Klaus-Peter Willsch studied economics and politics at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and in 1986 he received a degree in economics.
