GREECE AND ITS CREDITORS: A WIN-WIN DEAL?

Greece successfully secured a four-month extension of its financial rescue when its euro zone partners approved a reform plan. Against this economic setting, The Economist is proud to announce a special focus event entitled GREECE AND ITS CREDITORS: A WIN-WIN DEAL? The strategy, the risk, the outcome, for an open dialogue with The Economist Intelligence Unit’s Regional editor and senior analyst Joan Hoey and other distinguished speakers from Europe in Athens on March 16th 2015.

Four of the 300 internationally acclaimed academics and intellectuals who have signed the open letter calling upon governments of Europe to “choose a new course” and to engage with the new Greek government in good faith in order to agree upon a new programme aimed at resolving the long standing debt programme, Jacques Sapir (Paris), Andreas Nölke (Frankfurt), Henk Overbeek (Amsterdam) and Giovanni Dosi (Pisa), have confirmed participation in this event.
