The South-east Europe and Trans-Caspian Business Summit
March 15th 2026 | Baku, Azerbaijan
Expanding corridors for partnerships in energy and infrastructure
In contrast to the upheavals and competition which dominate global geopolitics, economic and diplomatic collaboration between south-east Europe and the Caspian regions is accelerating. New energy infrastructure projects in the region will support stability and growth. And momentum for dialogue and closer co-operation along this critical “corridor”, which connects Europe and Asia, is emerging rapidly. Taking place against a backdrop of shifting global supply chains and trade wars, the forthcoming Economist business summit in Baku will explore how the energy, logistics and infrastructure sectors can link the two regions, promote connectivity and enhance growth. Bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and experts, the summit will examine how infrastructure projects such as pipelines, railways, ports and digital networks can unlock business and geopolitical opportunities. The 2026 event will be held in partnership with Nizami Ganjavi International Center.
